Here is a short blurb, with a bit of insight into what a B-Sides event entails for a participant:

"B-Sides, the way I see it, is a place where people come to share, to participate, to learn, and to expand their minds. It is a venue for collaboration, for innovation, for learning about the next big thing, and starting a conversation to enhance it. B-Sides is first and foremost about community, building and enhancing it; about establishing relationships, about building a better world. People come with an open mind, come seeking knowledge, come to talk to others about what they are working on, about problems they are solving, about their passions and projects. Conversations about things they are curious about, meeting the people they talk to online, meeting and talking to thought-leaders and people recognized industry-wide, and all standing as equals, its an uncanny experience. There is such a high energy for positive change, and if I had one thing to say about my experience here, it is that I want to spread it everywhere. The discussions I've both had and witnessed here, I don't feel like I could have had anywhere else, and certainly not so many, in so short a time. Coming here revitalized both my interest in security, and my desire to do something amazing, not just for my sake, but to advance the community, and the industry as a whole."

Volunteering can take one of several forms. If you wish to help organize, please reply to the address issuing your ticket and request more information/indicate your availability. If you seek to help on the day of, we will contact you approximately a month before the event, and issue a survey regarding your availability.
